In school, I was an athlete. Basketball was my main sport. I loved playing basketball and made good friends doing so. It wasn’t with out drawbacks, and one of those was injuries. I sprained my right ankle many, many times. That injury alone eventually led to me having to give up the sport as I grew older in life. I miss playing basketball but my body has definitively said no.
When will it stop. “No new wars!” When will this cry be a policy backed by truth and not just another empty promise made during a campaign to garner votes. I am sick of this and neither party in the United States political system is innocent of the lies told to its citizens. I can only pray that its citizens will eventually wake up to the lies being told and speak loudly, in one voice, with their votes.
Welcome to my blog. Not sure where this is going to go if there is a direction but time will tell. The things I’m interested in writing about from day to day may be as erratic as the wind but hopefully all visitors find something they like.
